Sedona Professionals Mixes it up at the Mixer!
What is marketing without a party? One of the most effective ways to market yourself and your business is person-to-person, or in a small group setting. This is why our Sedona Professionals made it’s mark in history at the August 2007 Sedona Chamber of Commerce Tradeshow-style Mixer.
Clearly the Sedona Professionals’ marketing theme “The Year of Marketing in Person” was evident if one was simply observing movement in the lobby and conference room of the Hampton Inn in West Sedona the evening of the mixer. The Sedona Professionals’ tradeshow table was full with member’s brochures, business cards, and a beautiful slide show of the Professionals in action, courtesy of Theo Photography. There was a plethora of Professionals mingling about, networking and creating an interest among the Chamber of Sedona members and guests that may or may not have been familiar with the group of business owners, known as Sedona Professionals.
Lita Cox, President of Sedona Professionals, was in charge of table give away items and created two beautiful baskets full of gifts from organic spa “bliss” items to fresh cleaning supplies that were donated from the Sedona Professionals. These give away baskets also held personal gift certificates from SP Members i.e., Karl’s Black Motors, Stillpoint Living in Balance, About Face, Wisdom of the Earth and more. The winners of the table give away baskets were drawn near the end of the mixer and Lita spoke on behalf of the Sedona Professionals to the entire crowd at the event.
Another attraction at the monthly mixers is the raffle ticket giveaway. Several Professionals contributed to this large value giveaway as individual business owners, giving them additional exposure and the chance to win over new clients with a sample of their service! Stillpoint, About Face, and Wisdom of the Earth participated along with Doug McDaniel of Edward Jones, Michael Madsen of Agape Computer, and Roz Karp of Psychic at Your Service. What a hit these gift certificates were!
